By Sea
|
Regular passenger ship services are available to Port
Blair from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam and
back. There are three to four sailings every month
from Kolkata and Chennai to Port Blair and vice-versa.
There is one sailing from Visakhapatnam in a month.
The voyage takes about 50 to 60 hours and the ship
normally berths at Port Blair for about two to four
days. |

required to fill up the form and submit it
along with two passport size photograph
and supporting documents, if any, to avail
concessions at the ticketing counter.
All
passenger are required to give details of
infants below 2 years of age while
purchasing tickets. No fare will be
charged for the infants . This is ISO
requirement. |

Office, Rajaji Salai, Chennai – 1.
The issuance of
Passenger tickets and booking of Cargo for MV
Nicobar, MV Akbar and MV Harshavardhana are
done at the Counter attached with the office
of the SCI, Rajaji Salai, Opposite to Customs
House, Chennai - 600 001. |

The tickets for
all the passenger vessels are issued by SCI,
Ltd., from their office situated at 13, Strand
Road, Calcutta-17. |

issuance of passage tickets and
booking of cargo in respect of all the
passenger vessels calling at
Visakhapatnam is done by an Agent of
SCI M/s AV Bhanoji Rao Garuda
Pattabiramaiah & Co. Ltd., at their
private ticketing counter. |

subject to the fulfillment of
guidelines of the Director General of
